Silver stream

(that picture is definitely not hanging straight...)

Today we went to visit Kunihiro in Silver stream, Suburbia and beyond. Actually suburbia here looks even more boring than at home. But the house that he lives in is very nice. :) I'm sure you'll get a detailed description of the visit on http://www.kunihirorocks.blogspot.com

I've started packing and getting ready to move into a new room, and have to get ready for Christchurch too! That'll be soooo cool!! yeeeee!
Things that will be coooool:

1: seeing 3 Asian chicks experience snow for the very first time!! ;) lotsa love to you girls! you'll dig it I'm sure!
2: seeing KEAS!! In the wild!!
3: going for a nice and romantic boatride on the canals of CC... in the freezing weather--***
4: cooking supreme meals with my friends!
5: the fudge cottage?? can we go???! ...should we?
6: playing in the snow!

Mattis: can you see me?

I'm on top of the lightball!

Tina took me for a walk around wellington at nighttime, and we took pictures on the waterfront. The waterfront is sooo beautiful when it is dark! all the different lights and stuff... :) It was pretty freezing though, I'm coldblooded after all... I wonder how am I going to survive on Mt. Cook. I'll probably be all right. It's so cool, I'm going with Tina and her friends, and two of my best friends Beary and Lenny! How cool is that?! ^_^ I'll probably try to stay inside though. BRRR.

Soon we'll move up to the third floor, and I'll have a much cooler view than I have now. Can't wait! Ahh.. what a great holiday.
Oh well. I'll try to get Tina off to sleep now. She shouldn't stay up this late.

Gnite all!

Nightlife

This is a photo taken at our fav. dimly lit jazzplace in Wellington; Sandwiches. Great music, great food, great atmosphere, friendly and laidback people... It's pretty close to what you would call perfect. Our last trip, all four of us, as Regina and Felicia is going home in not too long.

I really can't sleep. I've tried a lot of things, still I'm just awake as if it was daytime, and I'm hungry as. Going to be sooo tired tomorrow... But: I shall get my x-rays done tomorrow! And I shall knit! Need to get those things ready for Christchurch and Mt. Cook, no use in sending scarves and half-gloves home with the girls. Itinerary: Get up, eat lunch, go for x-ray, knit some, eat dinner (?), go to Hummingbird (!) for a celebration of the end of all our exams. I can't wait! Hummingbird, we've been planning it for ages, and finally we're all done and can go. Ahh, luxury awaits us.

Lots of things to do

...spot the difference?

Yup, I've changed all right. :) Had to get my photo taken to apply for visa.
Man I'm tired.. got up for breakfast this morning at 8 and had to go into town to get my picture taken before going to the medical examination. Now after lunch I have to go down into town again, and have a bloodtest. Tomorrow I have to go to Newtown to have my chest x-ray and then I can go back to the medical centre to have everything confirmed, signed off and do a urin test. Whoa. And still: This is sooo much more effective than doing it at home. Maybe after two years I should apply for citisenship? Hm.
Tonight I'm going to Sandwiches.. :) yea. That'll be great. I'll try to take some photos, but it's really dark in there. We'll see.

It's been rainig heavily lately.

I'm freeeee! No more exams for many months to come. Today I'm going to rent a tonne of movies, if I can be bothered to go outside. Most likely though. :) YAhoo!
I can do absolutely nothing if I want to. That is luxury.

Wuhu!

100 years ago yesterday, Norway decided to break out from the union with Sweden. A clean flag!

And as if that wasn't enough, We beat them at football too!! Hahahaha!! The circle is now complete.

Another glorious day, the sun is shining, and we're all stuck indoors studying.

My precious room

It's really a good room. I'm going to set up my new room to look exactly like this one. Room is great, neighbours not so great. Last night they stole the poster on my door. It was a Giger. I'm upset about it. Never again am I sticking anything to the outside of my door. I shall be the mysterious inhabitant of 3rd floor. ^_^

Today I have done nothing.. and it's kinda great. I was feeling sooo crappy when I woke up, and with the poster gone and everything.. It just got worse. I'm going to get a black hooded sweater that just sais PMS. In huge red letters. It'll be great.

Another fine evening

Sooon... Have patience..
Isn't it beautiful? This is my choice. I think one of the reasons why I want it so bad is because it just isn't available here. So.. almost NO ONE else will have one. Mine! My own... my precioussss! :) Anyway... It's beautiful. *DROOLES*

The day before my next exam. I really am more calm now. *Sigh* Even though on my "calming down walk" just now I saw my lecturer... I never see him outside UNI usually! but of course I had to see him today... I guess it must be just as much of a drag reading about my exam preparations and fustrations as it is for me to go through them... I shall pass on the frustration! Yes! *evil grin*
Joanne: I just saw some grown ups juming hop-scotch on the water front.. RANDOMOLOGY! ^_^

Fairies wear boots

I saw it I saw it I tell you no lie!
Soundtrack: Obvious!!!

Sigh...

I just can't wait till exams are over. What a glorious day the 13th will be.. :) Thank goodness that I have a quiet room to study in now. JEEEE! Thank you Trong. It doesn't help much with the spacing out though. I'm hungry... Spinach two days in a row... amazing. Next year I'll be the one to blame if dinner sucks. That'll be great! :D

The quiet hours

It's not up to you

I wake up
and the day feels broken
I tilt my head
I'm trying to get an angle
'Cause the evening
I've always longed for
it could still happen
How do I master
the perfect day
six glasses of water
seven phonecalls

If you leave it alone
it might just happen
anyway

It's not up to you - well, it never really was...

If you wake up
and the day feels a-broken
just lean into the crack
and it will tremble
ever so nicely
notice
how it sparkles
down there
I can decide what I give
but it's not up to me
what I get given
Unthinkable surprises
about to happen
but what they are

It's not up to you
well, it never really was...

There's too much
clinging
to peak
there's too much
pressure

-Björk Gudmundsdottir-

I'll be fine...
I'm over the worst stressfactor now. Not studying anymore for the exam, just listening to Björk, calming slowly down. Quiet before the storm. Everything is inside my head right now, nothing htat I can think of that I don't know, which must be a good sign. My first exam in four years, here we go. NO milk tomorrow morning. Bring banana and peanutbutter to the breakfast table. All packed, know where to go. I feel like I'm mothering myself. ^_^

Two days till my first exam!!!!

there is a red light flashing, and it's going WORK WORK WORK WORK

After getting my grades so far for marketing, to reach my goal I have to achieve 35 out of 40 % on my exam! That's almost impossible!!! Sigh... If you need me I'll be by my books. At least I've been studying for days now, so it shouldn't be that bad.

Not much to tell really. Just studying like mad. Thank goodness that I've been studying all trimester.. otherwise I'd be DEAD now.

Wish me luck.
